Q: What are the cabins like at Yuturi? Is there running water?
A: The cabins are very nice. There is electricity in the bathroom of each cabin. There is a sink, commode, shower and yes – hot water! The beds feel great after a long day of seeing patients or hiking in the jungle. The food is amazing; the staff is very accommodating; and the jungle noises are awesome!
Q: Do I need to speak Spanish in order to go?
A: No. We will always have several interpreters with us at all times.
Q: What are the physical requirements for the trip?
A: The trip is not an arduous physical experience and is open to anyone in good health. Native guides carry all heavy gear and backpacks at all times.
